TECHNICAL SIMULATOR
Polyethylene Pipe & Fitting Simulator
Choose a product and size to draw its cross-section to scale: outside and inside diameter, wall thickness, SDR, pressure class, weight per metre and per coil or bar, and the water each metre holds. Overlay up to three configurations and add the one you need to your quotation request.

- * ID = OD − 2e
- PN16 matches the catalogue SDR table.
- Wall thickness and weight are calculated from the standard series and are approximate; final values are confirmed in the quotation.

Where do these numbers come from?
- Outside diameter, wall thickness, SDR, pressure class and weight per metre are the rows of each product page’s size table.
- The inside diameter is worked out from the outside diameter and the wall: ID = OD − 2e.
- The water one metre of pipe holds is the bore area (π/4 × ID²) divided by 1000, in litres.
- The weight of a coil or bar is the weight per metre times the supplied length.
- The mean flow velocity is the flow rate divided by the bore area.
- The pressure class of each SDR for PE100 and PE80 comes from the catalogue’s SDR and pressure table.
