PE Gas Distribution Pipes — Outside diameter 110 mm

Natural hydrocarbon gas distribution demands the highest engineering safety factors. Piping in this category (Product P003) is manufactured to ISO 4437, EN 1555-2 and the National Iranian Gas Company IGS specification. These pipes are supplied strictly in SDR 11 across PE80 and PE100 grades.

Compounds must demonstrate exceptional resistance to Slow Crack Growth and Rapid Crack Propagation under low-temperature gas expansion. An overall safety factor of at least 2.0 is mandatory in gas pipeline design.

Underground utility identification standards require gas lines to be either solid yellow or black with longitudinal co-extruded yellow stripes to ensure immediate visibility during excavation works. The dimensional envelope spans OD 20 mm to 250 mm.

Diameters up to 110 mm are supplied in 100 m and 200 m coils, while sizes from 63 mm upwards are supplied in 6 m and 12 m straight bars. In municipal and industrial gas networks, pipe jointing is predominantly executed using electrofusion fittings.
